Privacy Policy
Effective July 31, 2026
Iris is designed to work without an account. This policy explains how the Iris desktop application handles information.
Information stored on your device
Iris stores your reminder schedules, preferences, hydration entries, eye-break activity, and movement activity in a local database on your computer. This information is used only to provide the app’s features.
No account or cloud synchronization
Iris does not require registration and does not provide cloud synchronization. Your wellness activity is not uploaded to IAM_DEV servers.
System notifications
If enabled, Iris uses your operating system’s notification service to show reminders. Notification permissions and delivery are controlled by your operating system.
External links
The app may open your default browser, email application, or Microsoft Store when you choose a support, website, or rating link. Those services operate under their own privacy policies.
Data retention and deletion
Your data remains on your device until you remove it or uninstall the app. Operating-system backup tools may independently retain copies according to your settings.
Children’s privacy
Iris is a general wellness utility and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy as Iris evolves. The effective date at the top identifies the latest version.
